New Year, new blog!
I’m sorry I totally failed at posting on this during the fall. It just wasn’t a top priority and with such a busy training and work schedule if I don’t specifically make time for something, it doesn’t get done.
In the fashion of New Years resolutions I am going to try to commit to writing a new post every week! I will be updating on the weekends, and will try to have lots of different content related to my sailing: training and competition updates, workouts, nutrition, gear and rigging reviews.
At the moment I am getting ready to head to Florida. I fly down to Ft. Lauderdale on Tuesday (January 9th) where I’ll be racing in their OCR regatta next weekend, then its on to Miami for a week of training and then the Sailing World Cup. I just wrapped up my last gym training block yesterday which went full blast through Christmas, so I am feeling strong and super excited to get back on some warmer water.
I’ve also updated the Schedule page with my 2018 plan. This year is going to have more travel and more major competitions than last year, and I am really stoked. I hope you enjoy following along!
Happy New Year!
